cheechny Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 I have a calibrated monintor and my prints come out just as I see them, but for some reason, the images in pte come out too saturated. Quote
Lin Evans Posted March 31, 2020 Report Posted March 31, 2020 Are you using the Pro version? Essentials converts everything to sRGB. The Pro version has color management explained here: Scroll down to find color management. https://docs.pteavstudio.com/en-us/10.0/project_settings_1/preferences Lin Quote
cheechny Posted April 1, 2020 Author Report Posted April 1, 2020 I have pics to exe version 8. However all my work is shot and edited in srgb Quote
Barry Beckham Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 Something doesn't seem right here and having time on my hands I've created a small batch of images saved with different colour spaces. I have a slide show through PTE 8 to see if I could replicate increased saturation. I can't Quote
cheechny Posted April 2, 2020 Author Report Posted April 2, 2020 All I can say is my images look accurate on PS, Lightroom , and windows photo viewer. But def. oversaturated in pics and also in one of my other album creation programs. Quote
jt49 Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 What is the colour profile that is used by your monitor, is it AdobeRGB? An sRGB image typically looks oversaturated on an AdobeRGB monitor when using an application without colour management. Lightroom and Photoshop are colour managed, while PTE 8 is not. Here, the colour profile of the images and the profile of the monitor should coincide. Quote
tom95521 Posted April 2, 2020 Report Posted April 2, 2020 You might want to install the demo version of PTE AV Studio 10 and see if color management fixes the problem. https://www.wnsoft.com/en/pte-av-studio/download/ Quote
