thedom Posted April 12, 2020 Report Posted April 12, 2020 Hi everybody, I'm working on a new style and I wonder if there is not a bug with "main object" and "create style" features. I started a new project with 6 pictures in first slide. Each picture are labelled with "main object" option from #1 to #6. - pic 01 = main object #1 - pic 02 = main object #2 ... - pic 06 = main object #6 I copied the first slide and for each picture object, I changed the main objects : - main object #1 is relabelled as main object #2 => pic01 is automatically changed with pic02 - main object #2 is relabelled as main object #3 => pic02 is automatically changed with pic03 Etc... It worked perfectly except for main object #6 relabelled as main object #1 => pic06 was NOT changed with pic01 - I had to change it manually Then I created a new style. But the application automatically detected 12 main images (instead of 6). Do you have the same problem ? Did I make something wrong ? Thanks. Keep safe and take care ! Quote
davegee Posted April 12, 2020 Report Posted April 12, 2020 I am sure that you know that if you have images in multiple slides when creating a style the second instance should not be indexed. If the same image is indexed in two slides it is counted as requiring two images. It can cause problems. In order to better understand the problem perhaps a biz or similar is needed? DG Quote
thedom Posted April 12, 2020 Author Report Posted April 12, 2020 Thank you so much for your quick reply Davegee, problem solved ! I didn't create a style for so many years that I forgot this "rule". Thanks again ! Quote
