thedom Posted April 13, 2020 Report Posted April 13, 2020 Edit : template now available here There is so many years I didn't browse this forum that this effect might be already released by somebody else (or something similar). I had the idea this morning and tried to add a bit of depth and 'realism" to zoom effect. Everything was easily done in PTE. Of course, the effect can be applied to only certain pictures but I have the feeling that it works ok. What do you think ? Quote
Lin Evans Posted April 13, 2020 Report Posted April 13, 2020 Looks great Dom - to my knowledge no one else has done this... Best regards, Lin Quote
tom95521 Posted April 13, 2020 Report Posted April 13, 2020 Hi Dom, It does have a 3D look. Are you doing a dolly zoom or some other method? Thanks, Tom Quote

thedom Posted April 13, 2020 Author Report Posted April 13, 2020 Thank you guys ! I didn’t do a dolly zoom. I originally wanted to make this effect but I wasn’t satisfied with the result. I will give it an other try... Stranger, well done, I think we use the same method. I will work on my project, make something clean and will release two styles : zoom in and zoom out. Take care and have a nice day ! Quote

Instead of shifting along Z, I used a zoom in the frame, a slightly different offset of the pictures and the center of rotation for them. Also, masks were used, which allows you to save the effect while reducing the overall image smaller than the screen. Paul Quote
