Igor Posted May 8, 2020 Report Posted May 8, 2020 Creating of a dynamic shadow for an Image object or Video clip. 1. Create a copy of an Image object with same main object index (1). Apply a Blur effect and Grayscale color filter. 2. Put both objects - image and it's "shadow" into controlling object. And set "Transparent for click" option for both objects. You can collapse this group of objects to see only controlling object. And it can be easily moved or resized. Now you can dynamically change "shadow" for an image or video clip and apply any animations. Also if you create a slide style, the image and it's "shadow" will be applied automatically due to same main object index. Example is attached. 1st slide - a static shadow (using objects). 2nd slide - animation of a shadow. Dynamic Shadow.zip Quote
thedom Posted May 8, 2020 Report Posted May 8, 2020 Great tip Igor, thanks, really very useful for complex animations ! It depends on the effect wanted. but for my own use, I will use black color filter (instead of Grayscale) for a more uniform shadow. Btw, did you enjoy your vacations in Amiens ? ;-) Quote
