mommyrn Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 I've got 3 songs I'd like to play with our vacation, but I can't find anything in the tutorial about how to use the Customize Synch area on the Main (Project Options). I tick the "synchronize slideshow to music duration" box, but what does "New Transition" and "Timed points" mean? I'd like to stretch the timing of some slides to make the first song end later, the second song end later still, and the last one to end right at the end of the show.Does that make sense? Thanks!Shelley Quote
DaveG Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Hi Shelley,Firstly add music file(s) (MP3) in the MUSIC section (also check Play Background) Music boxThen, in MAIN check the Sync Slideshow to Music Duration boxThen click on Customize Sync ButtonSelect CUSTOM SYNCClick on TIMED POINTS and select ADD TIMED POINTSYou can now alter the duration of each slide and transition to suit the music.DaveG Quote
alrobin Posted September 7, 2004 Report Posted September 7, 2004 Hi, Shelley,Welcome to the Forum!Which tutorial are you referring to? In my tutorial, "PTE-101", I cover custom synch briefly in the "Timeline" section. Available for free on Beechbrook. Quote
