Stephen Fowler Posted August 12, 2020 Report Posted August 12, 2020 I purchased an upgrade to Studio 10 and received the email with my License Key. I successfully installed the application onto Windows 10. However, when I open the application I am unable to enter the license key, I just get a greyed out box saying Evaluation Copy. I have written to the authors twice on their contact page but have not had any reply. Quote
jkb Posted August 12, 2020 Report Posted August 12, 2020 You enter the key by clicking on Help then selecting enter new license key. If this still doesn't work, then try to uninstall & reinstall PTE. Jill Quote
Stephen Fowler Posted August 12, 2020 Author Report Posted August 12, 2020 Jill, thanks for your prompt response. When I close the Greyed Evaluation Copy box I can access the Help menu but there is no option to enter the license key. I have tried uninstallingt and reinstalling but get the same results. Any other suggestions? Quote

Igor Posted August 12, 2020 Report Posted August 12, 2020 Hi Stephen, I apologize for this problem and missing emails. I found you tickets and our replies. Probably our emails were blocked by your email server. Try to update drivers for graphics card on your computer. It may help. I see on your screenshots that PTE AV Studio works incorrectly. Or try an alternate solution: 1. Click right mouse button on a shortcut with PTE AV Studio. Choose "Properties". 2. A window with parameters of the program will appear. Add a parameter for the program path after the double quotas: -alternate3d So the final program path will look something like this "C:\Program Files\WnSoft\PTE AV Studio 10.0\Main\PTEAVStudio.exe" -alternate3d Quote
Stephen Fowler Posted August 13, 2020 Author Report Posted August 13, 2020 Igor, thanks for your response. I have tried installing the application on another computer and it worked fine. I think therefore that you are right that I have a graphics driver issue. I will try and get this sorted and try again. Thanks everyone who tried to help. Quote
Stephen Fowler Posted August 13, 2020 Author Report Posted August 13, 2020 I tried the -alternate3d option but it would not work. Quote
Igor Posted August 13, 2020 Report Posted August 13, 2020 Stephen, You need to change a text in a field "Target" and keep "Start in" field unmodified. Remove this shortcut and create a new shortcut (or simple reinstall PTE AV Studio). Quote
