Peter Poole Posted August 21, 2020 Report Posted August 21, 2020 I am newly arrived to PTE-AV having had the Proshow Gold software for the last three years. I have created my first slide show with video and photographs in PTE-AV and have enjoyed the learning experience. Once completed I export the slideshow to my ipad pro and mirror through my Apple TV to watch on a LG TV screen. The presentation is for myself, wife and close family. The video fills the whole screen. The latest slideshow is just under 50 minutes long. The resulting mp4 is 4.1gb is is very large and the file took 4 and half hours to encode. This seems rather long and the file seems rather large. What am I doing wrong? Going on my previous experience with Proshow Gold the encoding time was only slightly longer than the time of the slideshow. The video size was 1920 by 1080 and the FPS 30p. It would help if there was some explanation on the "Creating video for mobile devices" settings and what is recommended and the effect it has on the final product. ie pan scan disabled, hardware acceleration, motion blur etc. Pete Quote
