Johnwnjr Posted November 24, 2020 Report Posted November 24, 2020 I have a sequence made in 2006 as an.exe file that I have been asked to show via Zoom. I do not have the original Project file. Is there anyway that the security block by computers etc., of old .exe files can be overcome? The sequence lasts 50 minutes so undertaking to remake it would be very time consuming. Quote
jkb Posted November 24, 2020 Report Posted November 24, 2020 If you are using Windows 10, when the warning comes up click More then click run anyway. The next time you run it you won't get the warning. Jill Quote
rosy Posted November 25, 2020 Report Posted November 25, 2020 If you have screen recording software, you could run the show in it & create an MP4 video copy. Rosy. Quote
Johnwnjr Posted November 26, 2020 Author Report Posted November 26, 2020 Thank your for your helpful replies. I have transferred the sequence to a friend, and after using Jill's suggestion has got it running. He is going to Host the Zoom program and hopes to transmit it. Quote
jkb Posted November 26, 2020 Report Posted November 26, 2020 Make sure that you (he) ticks Share computer Sound and Optimise for Fullscreen Video to get it to run smoothly. Also make sure that everyone is muted otherwise the sound from the AV will distort. Jill Quote
