DennisG
Hi:I have been wishing to put the PTE slideshow to DVD, but in my workflow, I only have minutes to get one ready. I have been using PTE for a PC version, and a different software to make a SVCD for a DVD player. The SVCD takes about 8 minutes for 150 pictures. Can any of you tell me that you can make a DVD in 8 minutes or less anf what software you use?Dennis
LumenLux
Dennis, I held off my answer, thinking you would have received a better answer by now. If I assume you want 6 seconds viewing per slide, your 150 photos result in a PTE show of 15 minutes. My experience, on slow (750mhz) pc with DVD burner, is it takes much, that is much longer than 8 minutes for me to make a DVD of the PTE show. I'm sorry I don't have documented times to give you. Ken documents well many of his efforts and may be able to come up with some actual times that might be helpful to you.

DennisG
Thanks Ken & LumenLux for your replies. It seems that getting ready to burn DVD takes a lot of time. The actual burn is very fast, but the computer really is put to work to prepare to write a DVD witha slideshow. I am hoping that someday this will speed up. But, thanks again for your replies.
