 I am using Front Page2000 to build a web page with Yahoo Geocities and I see nothing so far that say .avi files are not allowed. My question is, is it possible to put a avi file on and how would I do it. I understand all about (ftp file transfers) and how to use front page.

Dear Harry

I don't know whether you can embed the file in the page but you could loated the AVI file in your site structure and create a link.

I know very about web design but I managed to set one up at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/paul.newsom

In the site structure I have created a directory to store PTE files and created links from the slideshow page.

It works for PTE files and should work for AVI
