Congratulations to Bill our host from Beechbrook.com In England 2004 he has captured some of the character and beauty of the counties of Devon and Cornwall in this our sceptred isle in springtime. I enjoyed every second of it. Thanks Bill and thank you for Beechbrook.

Hey! Bill & Karen:

An excellent show...everybody needs to take a peek at this one!

You English Ladies and English Men live in a very beautiful country. It appears to be the kind of place that meeting the new day is a delight.

and also Bill & Karen....thank you for your continued support of all the many PTE contributors to your web site and download/upload facillities.

Ron & Ken,

Thank you both for your kind comments. Ron, you already know what a beautiful country you live in. Ken has told me that he and his wife hope to visit the UK one day. As always, God provides the beauty where we travel and Karen and I are fortunate enough to be able to visit and capture some of it on 'film'.

I have just caught up with Bill's presentation on our glorious Westcountry. Super photography; it was a lesson in composition and exposure! Bill and Karen experienced the best of our early Summer (!) weather. We have had little sun and far too much rain since their visit. In fact Boscastle in the north of Cornwall was devastated by floods a month or so ago!

Bill, can you please tell us what camera you use and what resolution/file size was used for the show. The photographs are so crisp and clear.

Severn.

I wish I could give you a masterful list of things I did but this is all I can offer. I used my old Olympus C4000Z digital camera. Most of the photographs were taken in a basic 'point and shoot' style. The camera always does a marvelous job. Kind of makes you wonder why I went out and spent the money for a new Digital SLR Canon doesn't it B) .

Your country has so much beauty to capture. It's a wonderful place to visit let alone a great place to take photographs. Kind of worried about taking my new SLR to Scotland on our next trip. I better pack the C4000Z just to be sure!!

Thank you for your kind comments.

Hi Bill

Just goes to show, yopu do not need the latest and most expensive. The pictures certainly do justice to the 4000Z. I had a 2000Z until a couple of years ago, when I upgraded to a Canon G2 with 4mill pixels. Overall I prefer the warmer Olympus results to the Canon, whose photos I always have to tweak in photoshop.

Keep up the good work in showing off the UK at its best!"
