Ken Cox
IanI am not familiar with pinnacle's protocol but when making the temp avi there is a box to be checked re pinnacle in the pte programnow are you trying to make a vcd, or a svcd using a cd rw diskor are you trying to make a dvd - - your might be able to burn some stuff to the cdrw but the dvd player will not recognize it -- you must use a dvd-rw or a dvd-r or a dvd+r if you are going to make a dvdyou will have to give us the answers to the above before we can help you furtherken
Catrick
I found using a cd-rw that it would not play at all or if it did, it was so crappy. I just bought a bunch of real cheap cd-r and I use them knowing I will have a lot of coasters. Saving the used ones for data backup cd's. ianws
Hi, Ken & Catrick,I have discovered that my DVD was not able to view the modern formats options , apart from DVD's . I was considering a cheaper one for the bedroom - I got a cheap Phillips slimline from my local Asda (UK) part of the Walmart Company (USA) will play most formats available at present - played the CD-RW no problem - many thanks ianws
