Bitcoin price is high and bitcoin miners are buying up the most powerful graphics cards and even gaming laptops for mining. So there is a low supply of graphics cards or if available they are overpriced due to ebay scalpers . If you need a new card you might have to buy an Nvidia 1050 ti. Also the newest fab technology ( < 10nm) is in high demand and limited supply.
