Problems adding topics and comments to this forum

The last week I have been having problems adding comments and topics on this forum. After adding a topic or comment, the browser hangs for 5-7 minutes, after that there is no topic or comment on the screen.

What browser are you using? Try another browser to compare.

I don't have this problem with the latest Chrome.

Probably this issue occured after a recent update of the forum software to a new version 4.6. If so, the most likely it can be fixed with a nearest update(s).

I have not changed the system or browsers for the last 5 years, and have not installed any updates. Suddenly, about a week ago, new topics and messages stopped being added. The browser hangs for more than 5-7 minutes, and then a new topic / message may appear, or it may not appear at all. You have to repeat it 2-4 times.

Do I understand rightly that you didn't update the browser during last 5 years? 

If yes, it may explain this problem. Updated browser is very important for security and correct view of modern web sites.

Yes, I haven't updated my browser in over 5 years. Google Chrome never used. My browser works great with other sites and apps right now.

PS Just inserted this message and everything worked out quickly and correctly.
