tom95521 Posted October 24, 2021 Report Posted October 24, 2021 Creating a transition with a 1920x1080 mask. I notice the left edge is not completely covered by mask. If I turn off edge antialiasing it fixes the problem. If I replace the default mask with a white rectangle it fixes the problem, with edge antialiasing on or off. Version 10.5.4 Windows and Mac both have the problem. Thanks, Tom Quote
Igor Posted October 25, 2021 Report Posted October 25, 2021 Hi Tom, Do you see this issue in a real show? Full screen preview, EXE show, or MP4 video. Send me a simple test project. Quote
tom95521 Posted October 25, 2021 Author Report Posted October 25, 2021 I replied by private message. Here is an example if you look at left edge of video you notice the wrong color. It happens on other edges if you turn on the transition for that direction. Thanks, Tom Quote
Igor Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 Tom, thanks, give me some time to explore this project. Quote
Igor Posted October 26, 2021 Report Posted October 26, 2021 Tom, I think that this issue is caused by edge antialiasing and float point calculations for position/size between two objects which are placed exactly side by side. Move Mask (Rectangle) object slightly to the left. Now it's -200 , set -200.5 at the 1st keyframe. Quote
tom95521 Posted October 26, 2021 Author Report Posted October 26, 2021 That makes sense. Even for vertical lines antialiasing must smooth the object. I will either turn off or pan over a small amount. Thanks, Tom Quote
