Help required for inserted videoclip sound

I have just completed my first AV project, but got stuck with controlling the sound of an inserted video clip. I couldn't seem to find a way to fade and control the level of the clip to match it into the other parts of the slideshow. Can anyone point me in the right direction for achieving this please.

In the Timeline, right click on the video and choose "Separate Audio from Video".

This will place the audio in its own Track and allow you to add an envelope. It will also mute the original Video's Audio.
