Project won't open [SOLVED]

Normally I will open a project file from the project folder. Or if I open the AV Studio from the desktop the last save project will open as expected. Recently neither happens.

In either case a blank project 1 file opens but does not respond. I have to close it down and on second attempt a Project 1 file opens but responds when closed with do not save third attempt from my project folder and my saved project opens as normal on a double click.

It may be coincidence that his seems to have started since latest update download

I have 10.5.7 build 4, just opened my latest show from the PTE icon & the correct show opened.

Snapcam, check to see if there is a .lock file in the project folder.

This is generated when a project is opened & sometimes isn't deleted if something goes wrong & PTE doesn't close correctly.
if there then Delete the .lock file & see if this helps.

Honestly, I don't remember such problem.

Try to restart Windows. And if it doesn't help, also reinstall manually PTE AV Studio 10.5.7 from WnSoft website:

I eventually removed PTE from the computer and reinstalled.

Problem has gone. There must have been a corruption on first download.
