Here is a snapshot of the show WinterInOttawa running

in Linux Debian Sarge through Wine Emulation.

Pte itself won't run under Wine out of the box but

the exe files will.

Wine is not emulator (W. i. n. e.) as Virtual PC or VMWare. It emulates system calls and functions as in Windows. Their developers customize Wine for almost an each program. But it's a very interesting that slide-shows work without special optimization on Linux
