Stop and Start Video

Hi,

Is there any way to temporarily stop (freeze) video within a slide timeline, to fade in a still image and then restart the video at the point it was stopped when the still image is faded out?

I suspect this is more of a video editor feature.

I think I will probably have to use two slides and use the “Adjust Time Range” data to synchronise between the slides.

Anybody got any other suggestions?

Hi Jeb

You could trim the video clip from the start to the frame you want to fade out on, then trim the original again from the frame you ended the first clip to the end of the original. Add the two converted (trimmed) clips with the slide between. You may have to adjust the transitions between the slide & clips to give smooth transitions.
