bigbert
Hi there, mmmmm, looks like there's a lot of work ahead with text in my slideshows if its to be done that way.Thanks.
ContaxMan
There's a lot to be said for adding any text you want associated with your images in a program such as Photoshop. This has the added advantage that it will remain the same relative size and position regardless of the screen resolution used to view the final show. LumenLux
Also Bigbert, if you don't really need the "object" functions, you can just use Photoshop or other to make your text on a slide and then use that ready-made slide. Or you could use such a slide and then add smaller objects onto the text for your needed functions?
Ronniebootwest
Adding text with the Object Editor works OK (up to a point) I'd rather use something like photoshop because you can then add 'layer styles' such as bevel and emboss to make the text stand out. It also looks much more professional! So far, PTE cannot do this - it just produces standard text in the font style you choose.Ron West
