Kevin N Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 A while back I lost the ability to add the navigation bar. I'm checking all the right boxes and unchecking all the sound options, but still cannot build a show with a nav bar. What am I doing wrong? HELP!Kevin Quote
ContaxMan Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 Are you ticking "Permit control of show" next to "Customise Synchronisation"? Quote
Kevin N Posted January 11, 2005 Author Report Posted January 11, 2005 I've got version 4.14, so the verbiage is a bit different, but yes, I'm un-checking the box next to "synchronize slideshow to music duration". Quote
Ken Cox Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 KevinI'm un-checking the box next to "synchronize slideshow to music duration". you have to have that box checked if you are synced -- want control of showand you have show navigation bar on advanced pagein order to have it appear, and i seem to remember maybe something about mouse buttons -- maybe set to nonetry the first before you diddle with mouse buttonsseehttp://www.picturestoexe.com/forums//index...+navigation+barand you may have to update see the dates of the above the feature was added to one of the revisionsken Quote
Kevin N Posted January 11, 2005 Author Report Posted January 11, 2005 Okay, I just upgraded to the latest version thinking that might help, but I still can't get a navagation bar.Ken,I don't want to even put music to it, so I have to un-check the sync option. I tried it your way but to no avail. I changed the mouse options to none but still no nav bar. Quote
Ken Cox Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 PROJECT OPTIONS>ADVANCED> always show mouse cursor did you try this?ken Quote
Kevin N Posted January 11, 2005 Author Report Posted January 11, 2005 Ken, you're a genius! That did it! And now it all makes sense... what good is a navigation bar if you "always hide the mouse curser"? therefore, when the curser is permanently hidden, the navigation bar refuses to appear! Thanks again Ken Quote
Ken Cox Posted January 12, 2005 Report Posted January 12, 2005 well you can use the arrows space bar etc if you hide it i thinki always show it cause i want people to study my work btwwhen you make a video the nav bar and opening page do not show on your tvken Quote
