aplman
I was glad to read that version 10.5 could be installed in a way that preserved the installation of version 10.0, so I proceeded. "Open with" only offered one choice, the general "PTE AV Studio" without a version number. Have i misunerstood? Have I installed it incorrectly? jkb
Ken, all major versions can be installed still leaving the previous versions. If you have several verions of PTE installed, then open the version you want to use, then use Open from the file Menu to select the .pte file you want. Igor
Hi Ken, When you install any version of PTE AV Studio (or PicturesToExe), the installation window offers you to associate this version with .pte project files. It means that when you double click on a .pte project file in Windows Explorer (or click on a shortcut on the desktop), a project file will be opened with this certain version of PTE. You can simply re-install PTE AV Studio to update project file association for Windows. It will keep all your settings of PTE AV Studio, templates, styles or projects.
