JPD Posted March 7, 2005 Report Posted March 7, 2005 Hi,Many people make show where the objects (text, button or pictures) have not the right place when other people see there show with another screen's definition. There are several methods to correct this problem. I did a tutorial about how to do in order objects don't move that you'll find here. This tutorial (French and english) in only for version 4.40 and less. There will probably have no problem about objects in the next version (4.50). Quote

d67 Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Hello Jean-PierreMaking use of inserted objects in a PTE project can be a tricky operation. That is the reason why it is often ignored ... increasing the slideshow's weight ! Your 2 solutions to obtain a result valid for all screen resolution are very easy to implement and so are your explanations!Thank you for sharing your skill with handling inserted objects. I will give your methods a try next time Quote
dadou Posted March 8, 2005 Report Posted March 8, 2005 Jean-PierreYour transparent gif option is a very good solution for this problem: easy to use and a very good solution to save weight of the slideshow. The second solution is a more elegant one ... but perhaps a little more difficult to use for a new user....Very good work after the "Jeu de Taquin " Quote
