How to check sound and slide timing?

A friend is trying to figure out if there is a way to "preview" the timing of comment and the slide at the same time as when you click Preview it starts at the beginning of the show. He just wants to check the sound with one individual slide not all of them.

I have used only slides in my presentations and not added sound yet so don't know the answer.

There are a couple of ways

If you are on the main screen, select the image where you want the preview to start and click on the "slice of bread" to the bottom right of the larger image in the top right of the main page

If you are on the timeline, click on the transition number you want to preview from and click on the PREVIEW on

the right side of the timeline dialogue box
