lindap
I have downloaded scrolling text from Granot's site, and would like to know why when I change the font size and style, and then save the changes that it still appears as the demo style font & size in the scrolling text box. Also, is it possible to get rid of the white background box which the text appears in please, and just have the text scrolling straigt on to a slide? If not, is there another plug in or anything which will allow me to do this please?
Ronniebootwest
Hi Lindap,If you email Granot directly he is always very helpful. If you want a better way of creating the 'scrolling Text' effect, have you considered using something like FLASH. I use 'Swishmax' and find it OK though a bit of a learning curve. Ron West
boxig
lindapI uploaded new version of "Scrolling Text Utility".Scrolling Text Utility - Version 2.0This small utility will display a scrolling text on screen when "ScrollingText.exe" will run. For "PicturesToExe" users you can display a different text on each slide. What's new on version 2.0Added ability to change background color of text box.Added ability to resize text boxConfiguration file structure was changes. After unzip - run the exe to see how it works. If I will find time I will make much better version 3.0 BTW, you can use my GIF utility (forgot the name) to display animated gif over the show so you can display your scrolling text as gif. As Ron said, you can use also one of my Flash utilities to display scrolling text.Granot
