Berny Posted July 27, 2022 Report Posted July 27, 2022 Has anyone here on the forum had any experience with an Nvidia RTX e.g. 3060 Ti or higher? Does such a card bring even more performance in PTE 10 AV Studio under Windows 10 / 64 bit. Thanks and greetings Quote
Igor Posted July 28, 2022 Report Posted July 28, 2022 Hi, I have Geforce 3060 (not Ti) and this graphics works fine with PTE AV Studio 10.5. If you have a 4K UltraHD monitor, Geforce 3060 (Ti) would be the best choice for PTE AV Studio 10.5 and 11.0 for a smooth full screen preview and EXE shows with any complex effects. NVIDIA Geforce 3050 also is an excellent choice for any shows at 1920 x 1080 or QuadHD monitor. In future PTE AV Studio 11 we added several new complex effects (very beautiful) which can utilitize a power of Geforce 3060. P.S. We recommend NVIDIA graphics, because Geforce offers a good and fast hardware encoder to speed up video encoding in 3-4 times. It's especially important for encoding 4K videos. Quote

Berny Posted July 28, 2022 Author Report Posted July 28, 2022 ello Igor! Can you tell me what kind of power supply you run in the PC with the RTX 3060`At the moment I have a Be Quiet with 700 watts. That should be enough or? Quote
Igor Posted July 29, 2022 Report Posted July 29, 2022 It depends on TDP of CPU which you have. I have a power supply Be Quiet 550 watts with my Geforce 3060 (175W max) and AMD Ryzen 3500X (65W max). 700W should be OK for your Geforce 3060 Ti. Try this power supply calculator on Be Quiet website: https://www.bequiet.com/en/psucalculator Quote
