I have burned a DVD using MovieFactory from my AV however I am getting cut-off at the sides when viewed on my TV played on my dvd player, can I changes the setting on the DVD Player or in MovieFactory or Pictoexe to stop this happening. Sorry fif this is a poor question but its driving me mad.

welcome to the forum

set your screen display at 1024/768 in you are in North America -- NTSC -- if PAL i cant help

make your show at 95% screen size +-

and see where things line up

you should avoid borders on your slides till you get a handle on screen size setting -- vertical edges are prone to wiggles when viewed on the tv

use forum search for shimmer

states

One of the most important factors to consider in any image processing is resolution. For NTSC video the maximum resolution of an image is 640 x 480 pixels. To avoid cutting off the edges of an image a 15% margin should be used, or dimensions smaller than 640 x 480 (see Animation Recording). For medium resolution slides images should not exceed 1280 x 1024 pixels. Images smaller than this will not entirely fill the slide frame (see Film Recording).
