Xenofex2 Posted August 24, 2022 Report Posted August 24, 2022 No doubt a very basic question, but what I could not understand is why when the Masks were created, they were created as a jpeg and not as a png? In my mind, if I want a transparent background, it must be png, yet here, jpeg works. George Quote
Barry Beckham Posted August 24, 2022 Author Report Posted August 24, 2022 It’s because they are being used within a mask where black masks out the image and white allows it to show. It’s a slightly different thing to creating a partially transparent image where a PNG is the right choice. Quote
denisb Posted August 24, 2022 Report Posted August 24, 2022 In this case, png is a also good choice. Quote
Xenofex2 Posted August 24, 2022 Report Posted August 24, 2022 Interesting. So png would work but in this case, as being used within a mask, jpeg works as well Food for thought.. Quote
