Need New Key

Hey All:

I just purchased PicturesToExe and when I downloaded the key it was invalid or damaged. I emailed support for a new key and was wondering how long it took for them to respond. I need to make this presentation by tomorrow. I have all the components but need the program.

Your advice would be helpful.

my ISP won't let me open the attached file, so I'm hosed.

Have you scrolled to the bottom of the registration e-mail from picturetoexe ? The reason I ask is that AS WELL as attaching the key file it is also pasted in at the bottom of the mail (or at least it was on my e-mail).

Look for the text . . .

REGEDIT4

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\PTE]

*** long string of numbers between quotes ***

If you can see it, all you need to do is highlight it (from the R of regedit to the final " ) and copy, then run notepad (in Start, accessories) and click paste.

Then click save and save the file as reg.txt

Now try and register your software.

I appreciate all the links and advice. Unfortunately the text is not within the body of the email and I am not able to use the attached key. The attachment is not big enough and says it is Reg.Txt (49 B)

When I save it and try to open in notpad all I get is blank.

I have sent two email to support and have not had reply. I need this program for presentation on Sat. night. How long does it take for support to reply?

Eric,

Welcome to the Forum,

WnSoft support are usually pretty good about replying. However, they are closed on weekends, so you may not receive a reply until early next week.

It's frustrating when you have new software that you can't immediately start to use, but hang in - I'm sure you will find that this short delay will be well-worth waiting-out, further down the road! :)
