dadou Posted June 9, 2005 Report Posted June 9, 2005 The April first days, I did a walk in the Versailles gardens ; it was the first days of springtime and not too much people . I went from the Castle to the Marie-Antoinette farm , via the Grand Trianon and the Love Temple . Thank you for seing it . Quote
LumenLux Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 Thank you Daniel for sharing it.I liked your smooth panorama. I have not carefully followed the discussion of techniques that have been explored for pans. What technique have you used to have such a smooth and seamless result? Quote
DaveG Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 Excuse me if I am missing something, but where can I view this show?DaveG Quote
d67 Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 Excuse me if I am missing something, but where can I view this show? You find it on Cottage's site http://www.beechbrook.com/pte/downloadfile.asp?id=957Superb photos and very good accompanying music ... a very interesting and pleasant walk around of this very well known (and often so over crowded !) park. Chapeau bas !Thank you for sharing Quote
DaveG Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 Apologies!I was looking for something entitled "Versailles" or similar - silly me!!I agree - superb photography in almost perfect conditions.I was unable to view the pans because my monitor here is set to a higher resolution than 1024x768. If "Windowed Mode" had been used it would have worked, even on my setup.Well done Daniel,DaveG Quote
dadou Posted June 10, 2005 Author Report Posted June 10, 2005 Hello, Lumen LuxFor pans, I used this technique (english traduction by my friend Patrick, alias d67.I think that it is necesary to go very quiet to have a pleasant pan .... as when one is in admiration in front of a landscape . Thank you ! Quote
alrobin Posted June 10, 2005 Report Posted June 10, 2005 Thanks, Daniel and Patrick, for such a thorough explanation. I have tried some pans of telephoto images stitched together, too, and agree that the results can be very startling. I still haven't watched your show, but I am sure it is very good. Quote
paulnewsom Posted June 11, 2005 Report Posted June 11, 2005 A very nice show Daniel. I like the way you stress the elements of sping buds and flowers during the showPaul Quote
