shelton Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 Is there a way to set the font default in the object editor so that you do not have to continually set it when making buttons or hyperlink? I can see changing the color with the hyperlink but it sure takes a lot of time setting the font each time. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks Quote
ccmanz Posted December 10, 2002 Report Posted December 10, 2002 I would also like to see the screen size keep it setting too.I change mine alot to 600x800 when I am placing objects and have to change it each time. It does not remember the settingsI have changed.I think it would be nice if it would remember what I change and not default back everytime.cc Quote
Alan Lyons Posted December 12, 2002 Report Posted December 12, 2002 Would the "template" option be of any use to you both. This allows you to set most of the options for a show and save as a starting point for new work. Save one as say, "start up" and use it as a base for each show.Alan Quote
shelton Posted December 12, 2002 Author Report Posted December 12, 2002 Alan, I haven't ever tried it but it's worth a try. Thanks so much for your reply and Happy Holidays. Quote
shelton Posted December 12, 2002 Author Report Posted December 12, 2002 I tried the template and it will not keep the settings that ccmanz and I are talking about. It will keep the project options the same but not the indivual slide settings. If anyone else can help, please do. Thanks Quote
Guest guru Posted December 13, 2002 Report Posted December 13, 2002 Shelton, please try again. I made just now some new experiments, and I can confirm that ALL settings are kept.Of course, you must copy the original slides and paste them, replacing only main pictures and modifying objects you have in templates. But this way also individual slides settings are kept. Quote
shelton Posted December 13, 2002 Author Report Posted December 13, 2002 guru, I think you gave me the hint that works. I didn't realize that you could right click on the slide and copy it. I created a template and use the same frame for all slides by right clicking on the original. Thanks so much and Happy Holidays Quote
