I recently installed and then uninstalled Beta version of 11 . After I uninstalled the Beta version I was no longer able to use the Save As button on my Standard 10 version and all my project files for previous shows became inaccessible . I uninstalled my version 10 and re-installed a new version 10 and the problem is still there. When I click on the Save As button instead of getting a PTE Project file folder with the bird I get a folder showing the Firefox symbol and in the folder is  list of code instead of the slideshow with images. I hope that someone can figure out how to solve this problem. Here is a link to what I am seeing when I open what is supposed to be the Project File folder.

test save as dec 5.pte

It looks like you have changed your file associations somehow, so your system thinks that the .pte file is actually a Firefox File.

There was no need to uninstall Version 11 as all Versions can easily run alongside each other.

When installing look for the check box that says 'Associate PTE AV Studio with the .pte file extension'

For a beta Version leave this unticked and always open PTE 11 first then do a File Open.
When reinstalling 10.5 then make sure it is ticked.

Your files should then open & save as normal

Once the final Version 11 is released then make sure you tick the box when installing
