Igor Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 Hi, Creating a Displacement Map effect you might observe visual defect on edges of a Mask container: double of pixels (jelly effect). This side effect occurs because the effect shifts (takes) pixels outside of the container. In this case, the outermost pixels are doubled (repeated). To avoid this side effect, apply hiders on left, top, right or bottom edges which reduces displacement effect on the edges. You can use a Rectangle object with a gradient color (128,128,255). I attach a sample project below. Hiding edges in Displacement Map.zip 1 Quote
denisb Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 Fine, I think you can use only two hiders depending of the waves used Denis Quote

It depends on a direction of waves. Initially I've learned about this idea with hiders from your custom transition. Thanks! Quote
jt49 Posted December 21, 2022 Report Posted December 21, 2022 I have used on top of the displacement map frames of the following kind: Grauer_Rahmen_30-20_16zu9.zip Quote
