Use of Sharpness Filter

What is the purpose of the Sharpness Filter? The check box appears on the Making of AVI Video File dialog. Under what conditions should the box be checked?

Sharpness Filter

using the above term in the search feature reveal a whole page of hits

some people use it some dont

i have always used it since the avi feature came about

i think you would best try making 2 shows

1 with it on

and

one with it off

right through to a finished dvd to see which is to your liking
