Ronniebootwest Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 Hello everybody,I wonder if there are any members who can offer some advice on uploading a web site. I am aware that I will need some software to transfer my files to the net, but am a little uncertain of just what I need. Can someone point me to the best 'FTP Program' that is easily understood by a novice like myself?Ron West Quote

stonemason Posted August 25, 2005 Report Posted August 25, 2005 Ron check your web creation software, most upload to web and keep local (hard drive)and remote sites synchronized.stonemason Quote
Ronniebootwest Posted August 27, 2005 Author Report Posted August 27, 2005 Hi TimZ,Thanks for the link, I will take a look later. I have already downloaded a trial version of 'Ipswitch' and this seems to work fine so maybe I will stick with that. Check out my first attempt at creating a web page:My Webpage Quote
ContaxMan Posted August 27, 2005 Report Posted August 27, 2005 I like the nice clean layout of your homepage. Too many sites go for fancy effects whereas the average user probably just needs a quick and easy access. Quote
