Update 11.0.2 problem [SOLVED]

I was prompted to download the update this morning.

I've now started a new slideshow and find that each slide duration changes from whatever I have set it to right down to 1 or 2 seconds.

Is this a glitch or is there a way to stop this happening?

What are your settings in Project Options / Main?

Click on Apply to all Slides.

This wasn't ticked. Hopefully it will work now.

No still not working. All set to 5 seconds and, when I apply a style, the duration changes to 2!

You did not mention the STYLE!

The Slide Duration will have been set by the creator of the Style.

Apply the style - change the Slide Duration and create your own version of the style.

I think you should delete the new version then re-install the new version ticking the Maintain Settings box during the installation process.

That's a good idea.

Thinking about it though, it may pick up from the first installatiof the new version, give it a try, there's nothing to lose.

Rather than installing from the update option, download the latest version from the website & do a manual install.
That way you have more control

Thank you for all your helpful comments.  I managed to finish the original project and amended the slide times manually.

I have just tried out a test new project and it seems that all is now working well.

Thank goodness!
