DaveG Thank you Davegee. My intention was not to wander over the forum anonymously... I am not feared to show my nickname and avatar !I just wondered why Michel was replying me as he was not logged in with his name... and as an anonymous member was logged in... i made a very basic relationship Quote
JPD Posted October 11, 2005 Report Posted October 11, 2005 I cann't connect to this forum since two days and this evening I succeed at last , but it's very slow.Since it's the new version there are too much probleems.I know it's difficult to change a forum, but I though they were professionnal people who had to do it....I only hope it will be OK soon. denwell Posted October 12, 2005 Report Posted October 12, 2005 Is this an isolated problem for a few or are many others finding it incredibly difficult to access the Forum ? I seem to be able to connect only once in maybe three atempts and always with 'errors on page'. And its so so slow (about 30 - 40 seconds) to go between pages.I'm taking your advice Igor and being patient - but it is very frustrating !Den (NE UK) Quote

It is extremely slow at times and often it won't display the site at all. I've been just avoiding coming to the site the past several days due to this. It seems to be running a little better this morning (my morning), but it is still fairly slow in comparison to what it was prior to the update.I'm sure Igor is working with the Invision team to get this resolved soon. I guess we'll all just have to hang in there a little longer. Take care all!FredEdit: * Strike that "still fairly slow" .... it took about a minute to post this, so it is "still very slow"! Quote
Ronniebootwest Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 Hello everybody, from a cold and wet South Wales (UK). This morning the new forum seems to be much better than of late. I hope this means that Igor has done his stuff! Many thanks Igor, I am quite sure that everyone appreciates your hard work and I for one apologise for my apparent impatience while the Invision Board is being updated.Ron West Quote
Guest Techman1 Posted October 14, 2005 Report Posted October 14, 2005 As Ron said, it seems much better and faster today. I'm hoping that this is the sign of a new beginning!Looking forward to the PTE beta now (I'm not rushing you Igor, just making the statement ).Take care all!Fred Quote
Igor Posted October 14, 2005 Author Report Posted October 14, 2005 Yes, the forum was moved to another server today. It's still Invision, but absolutely new server. I hope it will work better now.And I apologize about this long down time. Quote
