Sandalholme Posted June 29, 2023 Report Posted June 29, 2023 I have used 10.5.9 on a Mac mini for some time, running under OS 10.12.6. I have - temporarily in fact - a need to install 10.5.9 onto a MacBook Pro running 10.13.6. I cannot copy my licence from the Mac Mini - cannot select/copy - so may be misreading I and 1, or O and 0, etc but when trying to activate 10.5.9 on the MacBook Pro I get wrong or damaged licence number. As far as I can tell, I have tried all the combinations. I could run it as a trial, but will still need to activate to get rid of the trial banner. Any solutions? Quote
davegee Posted June 29, 2023 Report Posted June 29, 2023 https://www.wnsoft.com/en/pte-av-studio/lost-license-key/ Make sure that you use the correct email address - the one you used to purchase the license. DG 1 Quote
Sandalholme Posted June 30, 2023 Author Report Posted June 30, 2023 Many thanks! It's strange because i haven't changed my email address for years. also the licence key for the laptop is different from the one on the desktop. Never mind, it worked. Many thanks. Quote
Igor Posted June 30, 2023 Report Posted June 30, 2023 Glad that you solved this issue! Usually we advice to copy/paste a license key (Cmd+C / Cmd + V on Mac) to avoid typos with "i" and "1" and "O" and 0". Dave, thanks for your quick helpful reply. Quote
