tom95521 Posted August 5, 2023 Report Posted August 5, 2023 I have been testing AirParrot 3 to stream to my bedroom HDTV. It is an older Sony HDTV with one HDMI port and that does not have integrated support for any of the 3 popular wireless display technologies. Instead I have a Google Chromecast device. I have Airparrot 3 setup as Display 2 when using PTE so I can preview my slideshows on the HDTV without using a HDMI cable. I had previously tried using Google Chrome Cast Desktop option but was not happy with the results. Available for Windows and Mac. I use the Mac version. There is a downloadable 7 day demo version. https://www.airsquirrels.com/airparrot/https://www.airsquirrels.com/airparrot/ My Chromecast device. It is often on sale at Amazon. I think mine was $25 for the 4K version. https://store.google.com/us/product/chromecast_google_tv?hl=en-US 3 popular display technologies https://newtechworld.net/understanding-miracast-vs-chromecast-vs-airplay-technologies/ Tom Quote
