Spell Check

I haven’t been very active on the forum lately, but I have been using PTE AV Studio 11 to prepare live demos on this software and PS.

If I had one wish today that would be of most benefit to me, it would be a spell check facility. It’s been mentioned before, but I’d like to add my voice to another call.

plus the ability to outline text.

Great to see you back on the forum, Barry. I whole heartily agree with you about spell check and the text module overhauled. I know, easy for me to say, but it would be so nice not to have to worry about getting text a uniform size and have a built in outlining option.

There is a sort of outlining, using drop shadow and "cone-inverted"

 

 

Or maybe Denis confused outline and underline.

Try any size between 5 and 15.

I know the shadow function quite well. If you like shadows then it is OK. But if you would like to see a stroke with a sharp border the PTE shadows obviously do not work. So I would like to suggest a stroke function for text objects (similar to the one in Photoshop, see my example from above).

If it will be possible to add Stroke to PTE, then could we have Bevel as well please.

Personally I don't feel that the work involved & the extra weight it would add to the program, that a Spell Check is worthwhile.
It is so easy to just copy the Text & paste it into say Word to perform checks.
This is what I do if I have a lot of Text on screen (which is not often)
