rosy Posted September 11, 2023 Report Posted September 11, 2023 I have a show in progress composed of stills & a couple of video clips. Being an Audacity person I have multiple sound tracks set out in Audacity. The sound track of the main video clip is a person singing, so has to be lip sync-ed. I have left a space in Audacity so the original sound on the clip can be used, however the volume is too low. I'm sure I should be able to see the wave form of the clip but can't for the life of me remember how it's done Bewildered Rosy. Quote
jkb Posted September 11, 2023 Report Posted September 11, 2023 Easy in PTE - In Timeline, right click the video & select 'separate audio from video' You will then see the Audio track underneath & you can adjust the volume Jill Quote
rosy Posted September 11, 2023 Author Report Posted September 11, 2023 Thanks Jill I always said you should be on the payroll However you have to be careful as it's easy to move the sound track & mess up the lip sync. Thanks again Rosy. 1 Quote
jkb Posted September 11, 2023 Report Posted September 11, 2023 Rosy, you will notice that it is linked to the Slide, so will move with the Slide & keep lip sync. If in Settings/Preferences/Timeline you switch the Waveform to 'mixed channels' you may find it easier to see the waveform for adjustments. Jill Quote
rosy Posted September 11, 2023 Author Report Posted September 11, 2023 Hi Jill Ah didn't notice that, at 83 I'm never to old to learn. Rosy. 1 Quote
