aplman Posted September 19, 2023 Report Posted September 19, 2023 I cannot find in the documentation detailsof how to set the position, colour, size etc of the slide comment. Any help please? Ken T. Using version 11.0.9 on Windows 10. Quote
davegee Posted September 19, 2023 Report Posted September 19, 2023 If you are using the "Comment" feature in the Slide View you can go to the Objects and Animation/Properties view to change its properties. Is this what you mean? DG P.S. https://docs.pteavstudio.com/en-us/11.0/main-window_1/slide_list_view#comment_text_comment Quote
aplman Posted September 20, 2023 Author Report Posted September 20, 2023 Not quite. I need to apply to all selected slides. I believe O&A only deals with one slide at a time - or am I missing something? Thanks DG. KT Quote

aplman Posted September 23, 2023 Author Report Posted September 23, 2023 Thanks to you all. No problem controllingfont etc for new slides, but I am wanting to add comments to large numbers of existing slides. Apols for not making that clear. So I remain mystified. Ken T. Quote
denisb Posted September 23, 2023 Report Posted September 23, 2023 Hi Click on "Apply to all slides" it works not only for new slide Denis Quote
davegee Posted September 23, 2023 Report Posted September 23, 2023 You could add your Text Comment/Template to a slide which has no other animation and make a "Quick Style" (Shift+Ctrl+N) and Apply the Quick Style to Selected Slides (Shift+Ctrl+Q). You would have problems if any of the Selected Slides already had Animation. DG Quote
aplman Posted October 21, 2023 Author Report Posted October 21, 2023 Hello Igor and All, I am very surprised and disappointed that DG's comment has not provoked further discussion. Since their introduction, I have regarded Slide Styles as a flawed feature, so I do not expect it to offer any solutions. Some time ago, I suggested that Object Styles would be better, but now I cannot recover my line of reasoning. Havs there been some later enhancement that has escaped my notice? Or should I re-examine the notion of Templates ... where I may have failed to grasp their true beauty? Thanks and Best Wishes ...Ken T. Quote
