alrobin
Hi, Linda,Welcome to the Forum!First of all, selection of an icon is optional. One way to create an icon is to obtain a plugin for Photoshop - there are some sites which offer either free or very low-priced plugins. I don't know if version CS-2 has that plugin already or not.You need to resize your image to 32 x 32 pixels or 16 x 16, depending on whether you also want a toolbar icon. Then you need to convert it to "Indexed" mode, with only 256 colours. Then you can save it as an ".ico" file if you have the Photoshop plugin, or use IrfanView (free download, and very useful for creating icons or batch modifications to images, etc.)If you do a search on the forum, you will probably find some more detailed information and links on where to find the required software and/or plugins for PS.Hope this helps. I got it free from:Icon plugin for PhotoshopBTW - if all you need is a copyright sign, you can get it into a text document (eg text layer in PS) by holding down alt as you press 0169 on your numeric keypad (PC only). ContaxMan
Please walk me through making a copyright logo. Will it work on top of an image? If it will help, I'll write you a short "how-to" on making and using a copyright "stamp" to add to images in Photoshop - I actually demonstrated this last week in a talk I did at a local club. E-mail if you would like this, letting me know exactly what it is you wish to do.

JPD
How do I prepare my copyright logo from Photoshop to add to project options? You just have to make a transparency gif file with your logo and put this file in the "customize copyright option" (advanced project options). Then you choice where to put it (down, right etc) how many pixels from you choice and the % of transparency.NB you can use a jpg or bmp file, but it's easier with a gif. If you put an object in a view at the same place as the logo, the object will be above.
