Continuation of the series "Two Artists"
The first artist is a contemporary Russian-Canadian artist Vyacheslav Groshev.
The heroes of his paintings are mainly children and teenagers.
The second artist is the famous English academic artist Sir Frederic Leighton.
He often introduced sentimental and romantic details into his compositions, hence the nickname “Sentimental Academic Romantic.”
At 29 he joined the 20th Middlesex Volunteer Rifle Corps, better known as the Artists' Rifle Corps.
By the end of his service, Leighton was promoted to the rank of colonel and the first of the British artists to be awarded the baronial title.
Enjoy watching.
