Hello

My previewed slideshow works fine, and the created slideshow also works perfectly, but when I burn it to a

CD and play from the CD, the show does not display each slide for an equal amount of time. Any help? I am creating and playing on the same computer.

There are a umber of possibilities here, but the most likely is that the CD reader is not fast enough to keep up with the show.

It is far better to run from the hard drive than the CD.

Your files might be relatively large for the show. Most of us aim the image files to be 300kb (plus or minus) and the MP3 is at 96 or 128 kbps.

Thank you, Jim. I doubt that it is the CD player, but the file size might well be the problem. I did not reduce the photos before adding them, didn't even think about it. I will do that and see what happens. Thank you very muchl

I should have mentioned the 300kb is based on files of 1024x768 or 1280x960 or thereabouts

One can make shows run with files straight out of a 6MP camera, but it is not recommended. I do it only for initially setting up a draft of a show.

Hi there,

Did you 'Synchronise' the Slideshow to the Music Timeline prior to making your CD-Disc ?

If not, there will always be timing differences ranging from 'slight' to 'severe slip' depending

on your Operating System, available user Memory, and the type of CD Drive in use.

Automatic Synchronisation or Custom Synchronisation will sort out these problems provided

you forgot to use the 'Synchronisation Utility' which is part of the PTE.Program

Brian.Conflow.
