When I updated to the latest version of PTE AV STUDIO 11 PRO I noticed some the software text displayed was oriental. The Mac recently updated the OS to Sonoma 14.2.1. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Hello T.

Just checked and I don't see a problem. Could you show a screenshot to show the issue?

Hi Ian,

I don’t have a screen shot but if you look on PTE F/B page Adrian B has a screen shot showing his experience. In fairness, the areas that were oriental have disappeared and now all seems to be as it should.

Hi,

Glad that you solved the problem!

Let me know - did you use Auto Update function from PTE, or downloaded manually the new installation file, when that issue occured?

I just checked again, both options deliver the latest correct version 11.0.1 Build 1 which should not cause that problem with text.

I had this issue with 10.5.9, which PTE told me was the latest version. Followed the advice above to download from the website, but of course my licence key is no good for version 11.

I reinstalled 10.5.9 and instead of non latin characters I get blank spaces.

Hi,

You need to download a free update 10.5.11 from this page (the 2nd link for Mac):

https://www.wnsoft.com/en/pte-av-studio/old-versions/

If the problem still occurs, let us know your Mac model name (Intel CPU or Apple silicon) and version of macOS.
