Is there any chance you might implement OGG support for audio (popular open source lossy codec with better quality then mp3, especially at lower bitrates) & PNG image files. I want a lossless image alternative, but BMP files grow to large.

Maybe it will added to the next versions of PicturesToExe.

We're already working on the new WAV/MP3 player which allows to include support of another music formats.

There is a difficulty with PNG support. All known us those DLL libraries have a very large size and are not suitable for PicturesToExe.

I too had liked Png support, but I think it's not an essential feature. Probably it will be more interesting Jpeg 2000 (I saw excellent results in a comparison with current Jpeg), when this format will be mature.

As to OGG Vorbis, I agree with Albeit, and hope it will be implemented as soon as possible in PTE. Even if it is not so popular as mp3, it can be an excellent (and absolutely free) alternative if PTE will have a good internal player!
