Hello,

Perhaps some of the people here can help me (I would truly appreciate anyone who can help me get started correctly).

I have been using Pic2Exe for years, but have never tried Video.

My husband just got a new PC that has a sample Nero on it and I am thinking to invest

in upgrading to the newest version offer available in the sample program.

The questions I have before I start my venture are:

1. Is the latest newest version of Nero the best version to use for converting to video using

Pic2Exe?

2. From all I have been reading we will also have to invest in a new DVD player (TV) as

ours is very old and probably won't work to play the DVD if? created. So, from your

experience - which is a good DVD player to purchase for this, but also still good to

watch movies on? Also good for a future HD/TV? As we don't have one yet, but is on

the wish list!

The forums here are *** GREAT *** and Pic2Exe is a prize to have had all these years.

Thank You All for being here.

you do not say what country you are from

so

I use nero 6.6 suite - not the bundled piece that generally comes with a dvd drive

"hawk" uses the latest version 7 suite and has updated it a couple times

we are both happy with the software and is quite user friendly

in Canadian dollars it runs +- $100 + taxes 15%

dvd players to connect to tv are as low as $35 + tax

my 2-3 year old dvd players all play the dvd's i make

whatever pocketbook will bear:)

Sorry, I am from Canada, but live in U.S.A / Texas.

My DVD player is much . . . . older than yours! My son gave me his old one

Thanks for the Info - appreciate it! :D
