d67 Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 HelloI uplooaded on Bill's Beechbrook site, Help !, a dramatic help cry of a little girl, Lucile ... As his mastering english is very limited (she is just beginning learning foreign langages), be indulgent if some translations are curious !Sound needed even if the very first slides are silent.Resolution 1280/853Comments of any nature welcome. LumenLux Posted April 10, 2006 Report Posted April 10, 2006 Thanks for sharing this little show. I think it is good to see what people are doing with PTE. There are many good reasons for using PTE. Probably the most appreciated is for a fun way to show snapshots to family and friends. Two preferences that are related to each other: I would prefer a different music. And I think the pace was a little two quick when reading must be done.Fun sequence anyway. Quote

This one is related to a funny TV serie, just as the mood of this slideshow Quote
LumenLux Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Perhaps the "problem" with the music is that I do have a "locked in" mental association between this music and other visuals. Was it The Benny Hill Show that made the music so well known? I think maybe a music piece, a little less "frantic" but still light-hearted would be even better. Quote
lathompson Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Which brings up the question, what is the name of that piece of music? I've always wondered. I think it was used on the Benny Hill show.lt Quote
LumenLux Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Going out on a limb here, but it might have been Yakety Sax. (The version I think I have.) Quote

lathompson Posted April 11, 2006 Report Posted April 11, 2006 Thanks, I'll sleep better tonight. Ever since I watched the slideshow, I've been "Kazzooing" this tune. I'm driving my wife nuts.lt Quote
