Photoshop files directto be used?

Hi , can I use import photoshop photos (psd) and or HEIC photos direct in the program or should I convert them to jpg.

You cannot use PSD, they need to be jpg. I think Tiff also works but they will be much larger & no advantage in using them.

Not sure about HEIC as I don't have any of those files, but I don't think so.

Best to stick with jpg & png although webp also works as well as most video formats

For sure .tiff will work, I use them as I export from Lightroom to PTE. If the photos has more than one layer they will be exist.
